The General Assembly of the International Federation of Air Traffic Safety Electronics Associations (IFATSEA), the authoritative voice on the competence of air traffic safety electronics personnel (ATSEP) globally, elected a new Executive Board during the Federation’s 52^nd Annual General Assembly held at the LINQ Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA from 20 to 24 October 2024 under the theme: “Deal Us In! ATSEP, Key Contributors to a Global Seamless Airspace.”

The election segment of the 2024 General Assembly, which debuted the e-voting process adopted via a motion moved during the 51^st General Assembly in Buenos Aires, Argentina in November 2023, witnessed elections into the positions of President, Executive Secretary, Regional Director for the Asia Pacific, and Regional Director for Europe. At the end of the election, Ing. Frank Kofi Apeagyei, a Ghanaian and erstwhile Executive Secretary of the Federation, was unanimously elected as President, succeeding Theodore Kiritsis, a Greek, who took over the office of the President following the demise of the then President, Thorsten Wehe, a German, in February 2022.
